Before we launch a new feature, especially one as important as the next evolution of the Outrival Capital Profit platform, we often turn to the community to request assistance in testing the product and discovering –– and reporting –– critical bugs that can hinder the experience for others.
The Outrival Capital Profit team puts tremendous effort into planning, preparing, and testing new tools before release. But we firmly believe that the best feedback comes from the traders who use these tools each day in global markets.
In anticipation of the most significant update to our trading platform since its inception, we launched a Bug Bounty Contest with a massive prize pool and gave traders access to a brand new trading engine, all-new trading tools, ultra-convenient widgets, updated reporting and history tools, and much more.

Outrival Capital Profit $100,000 Bug Bounty Contest Results
The Bug Bounty Contest included a test drive of the new Outrival Capital Profit platform planned for a launch in the coming months. Users had a chance to earn prizes for trading or finding issues ahead of the public launch. The Bug Bounty Contest included a trading competition using risk-free virtual funds, where users could compete for additional crypto rewards.
The results are now in. The total number of reports sent to the official [email protected] or via Outrival Capital Profit’s 24/7 live customer support chat was 166.
The 52 genuine reports are further broken down into 26 improvement suggestions and 26 bug reports. Of the 26 bug reports, 11 were classified as high-severity trading bugs, 3 were medium-severity trading bugs, and 12 were low-severity bugs.
The remainder of the 166 user reports were support questions where users contacted Outrival Capital Profit’s customer support chat for assistance on properly using the new platform’s functionality. For example, many users reported “flashing messages” when orders would fill.

All winners of Bug Bounty Contest rewards were contacted via their email account associated with Outrival Capital Profit. Remember, rewards are issued to trading accounts using promo codes. Funds become available for trading immediately once the promo code is used and applied to the account.
